BIM (Building Information Modeling) supports better coordination before work begins—helping project teams align on scope, sequencing, and critical interfaces that impact field execution.
K&M uses BIM support where it adds the most value to the concrete scope and the overall project outcome.

BIM-Driven Delivery for Mission-Critical Facilities

K&M Concrete successfully placed more than 25,000 cubic yards of slab-on-grade and 18,000 cubic yards of foundations through winter conditions for two mission‑critical data center projects. By leveraging advanced BIM Modeling, our team proactively identified and resolved clashes and system interactions that would have otherwise delayed project delivery by months.
For our concrete scope, BIM allowed us to accurately model plumbing and electrical penetrations, enabling fully coordinated and precise blockouts in a fraction of the time required under conventional design‑build methods. We also coordinated precast anchor bolts and embed plates directly with precast models, ensuring exact alignment while avoiding conflicts with structural reinforcement and design restrictions.
By bringing BIM expertise in-house, K&M delivered an accelerated, all‑in‑one concrete package that provided our customer with greater accuracy, increased transparency, and reduced risk—resulting in a more predictable and efficient project outcome.
