What You’ll Own

  • Lead and motivate a crew; communicate daily task priorities and sequencing.
  • Own jobsite safety leadership and ensure crew compliance with safety requirements and customer/site rules.
  • Maintain daily documentation (JSAs, timekeeping, per diem sheets as applicable) and submit on time.
  • Manage labor, materials, and equipment resources; coordinate repairs and rentals when needed.
  • Maintain jobsite housekeeping and perform quality control walk-arounds to identify issues early.
  • Train and develop new employees in specific tasks; reinforce standards and best practices.

What Good Looks Like

  • Issues are caught early through QC walk-arounds and good communication.
  • Documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • You build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

CONCRETE SUPERINTENDENT

  • Field

Superintendents oversee concrete operations across one or multiple jobsites. They schedule and coach foremen, coordinate subcontractors and deliveries, protect safety and quality, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

What You’ll Own

  • Plan and schedule foremen and crews to meet project milestones and budgets.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
  • Ensure strict safety standards are followed and reinforced daily.
  • Manage sequencing and coordination of structural concrete work (paving, foundations, layout/controls, placing, consolidating, finishing).
  • Schedule subcontractors, pump trucks, materials, and equipment deliveries to support production.
  • Maintain quality control for work performed by K&M crews and subcontractors.
  • Train, mentor, and cross-train employees to support advancement and long-term growth.

PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR

(and Sr. PM/Estimator)

  • Build accurate estimates by quantifying production time, materials, and labor.
  • Collaborate with owners, architects/engineers, contractors, and internal leaders to validate assumptions.
  • Recommend value engineering and cost-saving strategies while protecting quality and scope.
  • Prepare bids, proposals, and supporting documentation using estimating tools and Excel-based workflows.

Project Management & Execution

  • Administer multiple concurrent projects; own planning, schedule, budget, and outcomes.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractors and suppliers; prepare purchase orders and agreements.
  • Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Manage project documentation using ProCore (or similar) and keep records audit-ready.
  • Run meetings, site visits, and field coordination; support foremen and superintendents with clear priorities.
  • Lead change management (field change orders, pricing, documentation, client communication).
  • Approve vendor invoices, client billings, timesheets, and expense reports as required.
  • Drive closeout — as-builts, turnover documentation, and post-job lessons learned.
