End users required a hardened general‑commodities warehouse on an accelerated schedule, while traditional precast delivery timelines extended 6–8 months beyond project needs.
To meet tenant requirements, the project team collaboratively advanced a design solution utilizing tilt‑up concrete construction as an alternate structural system for both buildings—maintaining performance standards while significantly compressing the schedule.
From a late‑August start on footings and foundations for the PepsiCo / Alloy 2 facility, K&M completed perimeter wall erection for both buildings in approximately 125 calendar days. The project highlights K&M’s ability to adapt design and construction methods to solve schedule constraints and deliver durable, high‑performance industrial facilities for manufacturing and warehousing operations.
